This Cookie Policy explains how ConnectIRL uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) on the ConnectIRL website and in the app. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. Our approach
ConnectIRL is privacy-first, and that extends to cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party advertising networks, and we do not sell or share information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use only what is necessary to run the Service and, where applicable, to understand aggregate usage.
2. What we use and why

| Aggregate analytics (if enabled) | Where used, only to measure aggregate, non-identifying usage so we can improve the Service. These never build an advertising profile of you. |
3. Third parties
Some essential functions are provided by our service providers (for example authentication, hosting, and, if you choose it, sign-in with Google or Facebook). Those providers may set their own strictly necessary cookies to deliver their part of the Service. We do not permit them to use those cookies to advertise to you on our behalf.
4. Your choices
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and clear app/site storage through your device or browser. Because we rely only on essential and aggregate-analytics technologies, blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using core features. Where required by law, we will present a consent choice for any non-essential technologies before they are used.
5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because we do not track you across other sites or serve targeted ads, there is nothing to opt out of for cross-site advertising. Where required, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control — see our Do Not Sell or Share page.
