Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Our position on selling and sharing — and how to exercise your choices.
Some U.S. state privacy laws give you the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. Here is our position.
We do not sell or share your personal information
ConnectIRL does not sell your personal information for money or other value, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (targeted advertising), as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) and other U.S. state privacy laws. We never have. There is, therefore, nothing you need to opt out of — this is our standing practice, not a setting.
What that means in practice
- We do not run advertising networks or ad-targeting on the Service.
- We do not disclose your information to data brokers.
- We disclose personal information only to service providers who help us operate the Service under contract, and for the limited legal and business-transfer reasons described in our Privacy Policy.
Opt-out preference signals
Where required by law, we treat recognized browser signals such as Global Privacy Control as a valid opt-out. Because we do not sell or share, honoring the signal does not change how we handle your data — but we recognize it.
Your other privacy rights
You also have rights to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information. See our U.S. State Privacy Notice for the full list and how to exercise them, or manage and delete your data yourself in the app.
