These Disclaimers supplement, and are part of, our Terms of Service. They explain important limits on the Service. Capitalized terms have the meaning given in the Terms.

1. We do not screen or verify users

ConnectIRL does not conduct criminal background checks, identity verification, or any screening of users, and does not verify the accuracy of what users say about themselves or the social links they provide. ConnectIRL is a platform for opt-in discovery — not an introduction, matchmaking, or screening service. We make no representation about the character, identity, background, or intentions of any user. You are solely responsible for evaluating, and interacting with, other users.

2. Assumption of risk for interactions and meetings

You assume all risk when communicating with, or meeting, other users, whether online or in person. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user or third party, on or off the Service. Please review our Safety Tips and Section 7 of the Terms. If you feel unsafe, contact local emergency services.

3. "As is" and no warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, as fully described in Section 11 of the Terms. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

4. Proximity and distance are approximate

Distance and proximity results are estimates that are deliberately fuzzed, rounded, and capped for privacy, and depend on device sensors and conditions we do not control. They may be inaccurate or unavailable and should not be relied on as precise. The Service does not provide exact locations, navigation, maps, or real-time tracking of any person.

5. Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and features may vary by device, platform, and region. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available.

6. Third-party platforms

The Service lets users share links to third-party platforms we do not operate or control. We are not responsible for those platforms or for anything that happens on them.

7. Not professional advice

Content provided by ConnectIRL (including Safety Tips) is general information, not legal, medical, security, or other professional advice.

8. Limitation of liability

Your use of the Service is subject to the limitation of liability and indemnification provisions in Sections 12 and 13 of the Terms.
